Green Challenge 2014


“Living Planet Art Contest 2014”

                                                                                                        
On Earth life is possible almost everywhere on dry land, and from the depth of ocean floor to the lower part of atmosphere. Thousand of spices are extinct due to hunting , climate changes and global warming, 3079 animals and 2655 birds are endangered worldwide  .These endangered  spices is likely to be extinct , our  children may never see  outside of museum. We can conserve these vanishing creatures by forbidding hunting, restricting land development, or creating preserves.
 S.A.C has organized an art contest with aim to help and save the nature.  We urge to participate the students from all across the Pakistan in “Living Planet Art Contest 2014”. Students are asked to capture the planet’s most awesome creatures (plants, animals, birds, insects etc), biomes, and climates of their given environments on canvas by using collage works. Work will be displayed in Faisalabad arts Council to encourage student’s efforts in annual exhibition.

Medium: Collage Work
Materials: Papers, news paper, fabric, jute, fomic sheet, foil paper, brown paper, wool, sting , thread, fur, feathers, cotton, egg shell, small beads, leather, buttons, dry leave and flower Patel, tissue paper, crap paper, glaze paper, display sheet, texture sheet, net , small sticks, match sticks, tooth picks , straws, ribbons, seed & pulses, ice cream sticks,  wood trash, mosaic, patch work, images, shapes, cut outs, slicks, dry grass , fish wings, black board marker if require to outline, clear spray , glue and scissors.
Note:  mirror or glass pieces, pebbles stones, coins, wood pieces, nuts, nuts shell, shells, sand, soil, marble, bones, tile pieces, pines , plastic flowers, plaster of paris or other harmful materials are not allow to use.                            
The Rules, Briefly:
  • Artwork must be original, crafted only given sheet provided by SAC, may not include any copyrighted material, or trademarks or logos owned by another party.
  • Show some environment in background to make to more colorful.
  • Carefully monitored the contestants, while they are using sharp tools for cutting.
  • Contestants must avoid any excessive violence, sex or religious extremism, determined by the judges, will result in disqualification.
  • You retain the right to your art, but agree that we can post the winning art on our website and in other forms as we see fit, indefinitely (of course, you’ll always be credited as artist).
  • A valid entry includes your name, email address, mailing address, telephone numbers, and your teacher name.
  • Let your student answer the given questions on SAC sheet.
  • Craft your master  piece  with said medium only,
  • Last date of work submission is 10th December, 2014.
  • Results and Exhibition schedule will be announced in mid of December 2014.
  • Keep it clean and friendly; we will not accept submissions, we think are inappropriate or derogatory.
  • Multiple submissions are okay. Each submission must be unique.
  • Get feedback and signature of your teacher before penning your final draft as the proof of your individual effort.
  • Only those students will receive the certificates of excellence, who will qualify in final round.
  • Final results will be made according to the levels. The board will announce 3 positions from each level. Art teachers in this event will also receive participation letters.
