Think of a person you
really like or admire. Think of a personality trait that makes them so special.
Write about this good trait and why you like it.
Submission Guidelines, Rules and Regulations
- All entries must be original works, in English. Plagiarism, which includes the use of poetry, song lyrics, characters or another person's ideas are acceptable.
- Excessive violence, sex or religious extremism, determined by the judges, will result in disqualification.
- Entries may not have been previously published in professional media.
- To be eligible, entries must be works of prose, from 150 to 300 words in length.
- Entries could be submitted in electronic media in MS Word format only (with Font size 12 in Times New Roman)
- In hand written works do follow the nelson’s script, and use blue ink pen or led pencil, avoid using the ballpoints.
- Each entrant may submit only one essay in a contest.
- The decisions of the judges are entirely their own, and are final.
- At the discretion of the judges, all well written essays may be published on the Web site.
- Each entry must have a cover page with the title of the work, the author's name.
- Every subsequent page must carry the title and a page number, but NOT the author's name (to facilitate fair judging). Back
